Bipartisan Town Hall Angola, NY

Bipartisan Town Hall Angola, NY

NY 23 needs a congressperson with a conscience. Not a rubber stamp for the President, which is what we have for our current leader.

Democrat Aaron Gies, a professor from Olean and Republican Jim King, an engineer from Owego, come together to discuss real representation for the district, starting with personal appearances. They are willing to do the real work around making life more affordable, opportunity more available and bringing back community pride. It starts with in person appearances all over the district. Answering questions from both sides of the aisle and everywhere in between. Trying to get all sides talking by presenting facts, not fiction, not hype.

If you are having any concerns or doubts about where the federal government, with Nick Langworthy's help, is taking America, come talk about it. As always Mr. Langworthy is invited but is unlikely to respond.

Doors open at 6:30 to meet candidates, sign in, submit questions and have a refreshment. Formal program will start at 7.

Amherst No Kings Rally 3

We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.

What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever.

When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence.

On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it. Join us.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

Civil discourse requires mutual respect. Respect, not agreement, is an essential key for a healthy discussion. This workshop addresses how we may inadvertently be complicit in, or possibly even encourage, polarization.

This workshop is designed to help you lessen the effects of polarization when you encounter them in your political conversations or advocacy.

Speak up - Save Our Democracy

Speak up - Save Our Democracy

Last week I met with with two members of the Amherst Town Board to discuss my resolution to condemn the Trump administration. I feel very optimistic that the Town Board will take some action on February 23rd.

We need you to be there, Amherst residents and non-residents, to both support the actions of the Town Board, and to be ready to let them know if their proposal in not enough.

This is an urgent matter concerning the survival of American democracy. All those who have attended NO KINGS rallies, and have commented on social media, here's your chance to be a part of something bigger, to get something done.

The goal is to spread this political action throughout WNY to all communities. Robert McLennan

Bipartisan Town Hall East Aurora NY

Congress is not working for the people in the 23rd District of NY. In fact, our Congressman is actively working against the people in his district. Cheering on the costly DOGE chaos as part of their oversight committee. Formulating the destruction of healthcare programs and the possible loss of 8 out of 12 hospitals as the subcommittee for health championing the One Big Beautiful Bill. Dismissing the pleas of his own constituents by calling them left wing radicals if they dare to disagree. We are not radical. We are Republicans, Democrats, and Independents who are not extreme. We are people who want government to work for us. We want checks and balances, the rule of law and Congress to uphold the Constitution. We want to not worry if we can pay our mortgage and our insurance premiums. We want our kids to be able to have a job and the freedom to think for themselves. Join Republican Jim King and Democrat Aaron Gies fighting for the radical idea of a government that works for us not billionaires. 6:30pm meet and greet with light refreshments 7 pm Q & A If you have a question you will be asked to sign up as to the topic only so that we can get to various issues.
