Follow the Epstein money trail

Adapted from Jessica Craven at Chop Wood Carry Water 8/1

Senators Ron Wyden, Mike Crapo, and a bipartisan group of staffers have found evidence of over 4,000 wire transfers associated with Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking ring. Their team saw the names of women and girls in these transfers. Details of those transfers, which total over a billion dollars, are in the possession of the Treasury Department. Senator Wyden has requested from Treasury and DOJ that these bank records be made available to the Senate Finance Committee so that the bipartisan team there can investigate further. Pam Bondi can compel Treasury to turn over the records to Congress but has not done so.

Call or email your senators and House rep and urge to put pressure on the Treasury Department to release the transfers to Congress. Write your own script or use this one:

Senators Wyden and Crapo have evidence of more than 4000 suspicious wire transfers totally over a billion dollars, associated with Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking ring. The details of these transfers must be made available to the Senate Finance Committee.

No matter who was involved with Jeffrey Epstein, the truth must come out. Please push the Treasury Department to release all of these files to the Senate Finance Committee now. Thanks.

Congressional hearings for Epstein/Maxwell trafficking survivors

Adapted from Jessica Craven at Chop Wood Carry Water 8/12

Representative Ayanna Presley and 15 Democratic colleagues sent a letter to House Oversight Chair James Comer calling for a Congressional hearing at which survivors of the Epstein/Maxwell sex trafficking enterprise have the opportunity to share their stories directly with Congress without fear of recrimination or victim-shaming.

Call or email both senators and your House rep urging them to support these hearings. Write your own script or use the following:

The Congressional hearing proposed by Rep Ayanna Pressley regarding the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking case, would provide an opportunity for the brave individuals who suffered unimaginable trauma to share their experiences and seek accountability. Allowing testimony from Epstein and Maxwell's victims can shed light on the disturbing systems and powerful figures that enabled these monsters to prey on vulnerable girls for decades. I urge you to fully support and prioritize this hearing as a step toward justice and protecting the innocent. Thank you.

Phonebanking

  • Phone bank for a special election in Iowa

There is a special election for an Iowa State Senate seat on August 26. If Democrats flip this seat, they’ll break the Iowa GOP’s veto-proof supermajority, giving Democrats a crucial check on the Republican Governor. This win would also help set the stage for 2026. Democratic Candidate, Catelin Drey, is a community advocate and working mom, focused on affordable childcare, healthcare access, and strong public schools.

Please consider making calls on 8/20 and/or 8/23 to win this key race in Iowa! Sign up here.
