Action 1: Beat Voter Suppression - Staff a Voter Assistance Hotline
From Rogan's List 9/30/26
Right now, we’re putting in place the infrastructure to ensure everyone who wants to stop this regime gets their ballot counted. A central part of it are voter assistance hotlines – trained volunteers who are on call ready to tell folks where and when they can submit their ballot, field questions about checking registration and what documents they need and give guidance to work through any obstacles the vote suppressors put in their way.
With mail-in ballots already in people’s hands and early voting about to be widely available, we need as many people as possible engaged in this work immediately… and this is a role we can play from home, from anywhere in the country. Let’s jump into it! We can sign up to get onboarded in the coming days to serve voters in:
Action 2: Text to Drive Support for Action on Data Center Growth
From Rogan's List 9/30/26
While the federal government continues to tread water on major steps addressing the explosive growth of hyperscale data centers, grassroots organizers are forcing action in communities across the country. More than 320 local governments have now put some sort of moratorium in place, with about two dozen new local restrictions enacted last week alone – including significant new limits in the data center heartland of Prince William County, Virginia and city councilors unanimously approving a two-year moratorium on new data centers in Buffalo, New York.
Food & Water Watch is looking to give the folks on the ground some air cover. They're conducting a series of text banks on Thursday evenings aimed at reaching folks in California to inform them about upcoming votes on proposed moratoriums and connect them with key local elected officials to urge them to stand with us against the oligarchs. Action 3: Tell "Safe" Seat Democrats with Money to Donate to Democratic Candidates in Tight Congressional Races
From Rogan's List 10/1/26 and The Grassroots Connector
This great idea comes from The Grassroots Connector, which lays out the case: The Republican Party’s war chest is considerably bigger than the Democrats’, due to more Super PAC and coordinated-party money. Yet Democratic candidates in safe seats have, together, hundreds of millions of dollars in their coffers. If they donated some of that cash to Democratic candidates in tight races, it could make all the difference. Learn more here.
Here are the top Democratic fundraisers in safe seats collectively sitting on $131 million:
Alabama: Terri Sewell AL 07
California: Josh Harder CA 09, Ro Khanna CA 17, Jimmy Panetta CA 19, Salud Carbajal CA 24, Judy Chu CA 28, and Pete Aguilar CA 33
Colorado: Joe Neguse CO 02
Maryland: Jamie Raskin MD 08
Massachusetts: Jake Auchincloss MA 04 and Richard Neal MA 01
Michigan: Rashida Talib MI 12
New Jersey: Josh Gottheimer NJ 05
New York: Hakeem Jeffries NY 08, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez NY 14, Ritchie Torres NY 15, and Pat Ryan NY 18
Pennsylvania: Brendan Boyle PA 02 and Chrissy Houlahan PA 06
If your rep is on the list, ask them to donate to Democratic candidates in need. Write your own script or use this one from The Grassroots Connector:
I am one of your constituents living in [name of town]. Thank you for your work on our behalf and congratulations on representing our district so well that you are not likely to be seriously challenged in the upcoming election. Because you are relatively safe, I'm hoping you will consider taking some of the money contributed to your campaign and donating it to House candidates in tougher districts struggling to match the massive war chests on the other side. I don't need to tell you how important it is for the Democrats to take control of the House and stand up to creeping authoritarianism from the White House. We all say it's an existential election. Sending some cash to help your fellow Democrats would be a great way to show your commitment to the cause and might even help you gain some favorable publicity. Thanks for your time and considering this urgent need.

Phonebanking Opportunities
Joe Katz at Rogan's List has prepared a list of phonebanks that can be sorted by race or day of week - check it out here: https://susanrogan.substack.com/p/how-to-help-win-the-midterms?open=false#%C2%A7phonebanking-deep-canvassnon-standard
Make calls with Citizen Action of NY to voters in Republican Mike Lawler's district (NY-17):
Tuesdays: https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/885487/?utm_source=roganslist
Phone bank with Citizen Action of NY to talk to people living in New York's 17th Congressional District about what issues matter most to them & how policy decisions at the federal level are impacting their everyday lives in the Hudson Valley.
Make calls with the PA House Democratic Campaign Committee: https://www.mobilize.us/pahousedemocraticcampaigncommittee/?tag_ids=212
Pennsylvania Democrats are shooting for a trifecta in November by expanding their majority in the state house and taking back the majority in the state senate. This would allow Democrats to redraw congressional maps, raise the state's minimum wage to $15/hr, and legalize marijuana. Shifts are available most days.
Make calls with the Environmental Voter Project: https://www.environmentalvoter.org/get-involved
The Environmental Voter Project is a nonpartisan, nonprofit focused on identifying an estimated 11.2 million environmentalists who did not vote in the 2024 presidential election and efficiently converting them into a critical mass of consistent voters that will soon be too big for politicians to ignore.
