Action 1: Blue Voter Guide: A Detailed Guide to the Candidates, Ballot Measures, and Propositions on Your Ballot
From Robert Hubbell Substack 10/16/26
Voters facing unfamiliar races on their ballot such as a school board seat, a judicial retention question, or a state legislative race, often skip it rather than risk voting wrong. This isn’t apathy; it’s ballot intimidation, and it happens millions of times per election. The Blue Voter Guide removes their fear by showing progressive endorsements for candidates, measures, and judges listed on their ballot. It’s fast, simple, credible guidance to help vote blue all the way down the ballot. One in three users report the guide got them to vote in a race they would have otherwise skipped. Check out the Blue Voter Guide and share it with your friends and family: https://bluevoterguide.org/
Action 2: Donate Where it Will Make the Most Difference
We’re all being inundated with requests for money right now, a lot of it from campaigns where our extra $10 really won’t make much of a difference. The team at Oath helps to identify which races will give us the most bang for our buck and where we can have the most impact on the issues we care about. Check out their recommendations here: https://app.oath.vote/set?p=top-issues
Action 3: No Kings Pledges a Mass Mobilization to Defend Our Elections. Will You Join?
No Kings Vote Early is over, and the coalition is transitioning to the next phase of their work: winning this election and making sure that victory is respected.
There will be a lot of discussion about how that’s going to happen between now and the midterms, and a lot of work to be done. But at its heart, it’s very simple. The last, best defense of a legitimate election is the refusal of the public to accept anything else, and our willingness to engage in mass nonviolent noncooperation in the event those in power try to force it on us. In short, we need to be prepared to shut it down.
The No Kings coalition (of which Rogan’s List is a proud partner!) is asking us to pledge right now to be part of any rapid response national mobilization if it becomes necessary.

Action 4: Tell Lawmakers: Close Dilley Detention Center
From Chop Wood Carry Water 10/20/26
I’ve heard from my friends at Children’s Rights – they are the lawyers fighting in court to defend children imprisoned at the immigration hell hole in Dilley. They need our help.
Just in time for the midterms, Children’s Rights is launching a petition calling on Congress to close Dilley, stop detaining children anywhere ever, and uphold legal protections under the Flores Settlement. I urge you to get this in lawmaker’s inboxes post haste.
Since January 2025, ICE has arrested over 8,500 children—detained in Dilley, other facilities, and hidden away in offices and hotels. And this is still happening. The lawyers who visit Dilley hear stories that break my heart. Stark fluorescent lights that never go out, denying little children even the comfort and escape of sleep. Uncertainty, fear, isolation. Children going hungry. Families struggling to access medical care and clean drinking water, and confinement that lasts for weeks or even months.
Meanwhile, the federal government is seeking to eliminate the Flores Settlement, one of the few safeguards standing between children and indefinite, unchecked government detention.
Closing Dilley is an urgent first step, but children should not be detained. Period. And as long as one child is confined, Flores must stand.
Thank you for caring about children, the one thing it seems to me every human can agree on. SIGN THE PETITION

Phonebanking Opportunities
Joe Katz at Rogan's List has prepared a list of phonebanks and textbanks that can be sorted by race or day of week - check it out here: https://susanrogan.substack.com/p/how-to-help-win-the-midterms?open=false#%C2%A7phonebanking-deep-canvassnon-standard
Make calls with Citizen Action of NY to voters in Republican Mike Lawler's district (NY-17):
Tuesdays: https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/885487/?utm_source=roganslist
Phone bank with Citizen Action of NY to talk to people living in New York's 17th Congressional District about what issues matter most to them & how policy decisions at the federal level are impacting their everyday lives in the Hudson Valley.
Make calls with the PA House Democratic Campaign Committee: https://www.mobilize.us/pahousedemocraticcampaigncommittee/?tag_ids=212
Pennsylvania Democrats are shooting for a trifecta in November by expanding their majority in the state house and taking back the majority in the state senate. This would allow Democrats to redraw congressional maps, raise the state's minimum wage to $15/hr, and legalize marijuana. Shifts are available most days.
Make calls with the Environmental Voter Project: https://www.environmentalvoter.org/get-involved
The Environmental Voter Project is a nonpartisan, nonprofit focused on identifying an estimated 11.2 million environmentalists who did not vote in the 2024 presidential election and efficiently converting them into a critical mass of consistent voters that will soon be too big for politicians to ignore.
