Action 1: Urgent - Do this one-minute action ASAP! No Extension of FISA Until Bill Pulte is Removed as DNI Director
From Rogan's List 6/4/26 and Indivisible
The United States is actively engaged in war against Iran and threatening a new one against Cuba. This seems like a time where you’d want qualified people leading our intelligence agencies. Instead, Trump is replacing Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence with Bill Pulte, primarily known for using his role at Federal Housing Finance Agency director to seek political retribution for his boss against folks like New York State AG Letitia James. Now he’ll be able to weaponize the entire intelligence community against Trump’s foes. He’s a perfect Trump nominee, utterly unprepared to do an important job, thoroughly corrupt (he allegedly funneled money to Trump by disguising it as a charitable contribution) and eager to abuse his power to suit the President’s whims.
Pulte can serve as an acting DNI for 210 days on Trump’s say-so without Congress weighing in. But the legislative branch does have leverage to use, as we are once again coming up on the expiration date for warrantless wiretapping authority (this time on June 12th). With even Republican leaders expressing skepticism about this selection and Democratic votes required to keep the surveillance state in place, there are already rumblings on Capitol Hill that Pulte’s appointment was going to make it harder to pass.
Follow the link below to send a pre-scripted message to your members of Congress demanding that they refuse to reauthorize Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act the law until Pulte is removed from his position (and even then, only pass the law with guardrails to protect Americans from warrantless surveillance by this authoritarian regime).
Action 2: More Brave Judges to Thank
From Rogan's List 5/22/26
Facing threats, political pressure and a Supreme Court majority that has frequently not had their backs, lower court judges (and some high court folks in dissent) are still doing vitally important work to keep this administration’s power within the bounds of the law. Let’s send a note or postcard to acknowledge their work and send encouragement to keep fighting.
Judge James Bredar has denied a request by the companies involved to delay a civil trial over the deaths of six construction workers in the 2024 collapse of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge. Thank Judge Bredar for not giving in to pressure to further delay justice for the families of the killed workers.

Judge Chris Brown sided with the defense in finding Maria Dearaujo not guilty of voting as a non-citizen by reason of entrapment after she was advised by a clerk of the Department of Motor Vehicles to register to vote. Thank Judge Brown for refusing to allow Maria to be sent to prison for trusting misinformation.
Judge Christopher Brown
Franklin County Court of Common Pleas
345 S. High Street
Columbus, OH 43215
Judge P. Kevin Castel ruled on Monday that ICE agents could not routinely arrest people showing up for their immigration court hearings in New York City. On Tuesday, ICE arrested a man in these exact circumstances, in direct defiance of Castel’s order. Thank Judge Castel for trying to defend the rights of immigrants who are trying to pursue legal status according to due process.
Judge P. Kevin Castel
United States Courthouse
500 Pearl St.
New York, NY 10007-1312
Judge John Bates has blocked an attempt by the administration to roll back the Presidential Records Act, specifically to exclude the obligation to preserve any records sent in unofficial channels such as the Signal app. Thank Judge Bates for blocking the administration from deleting communications they want purged from the official record. Government communications must not be allowed to be doctored or hidden.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson has publicly criticized the Supreme Court’s expediting of the Louisiana redistricting case, allowing the state to capitalize on the recently weakened Voting Rights Act for this election cycle. Thank Justice Jackson for pointing out the blatantly partisan nature of the Supreme Court’s ruling which enables a redistricting effort clearly intended to change the outcome of the Louisiana election.
